American Red Cross CPR/AED for the professional rescuer certificates are valid for 2 years, but NYS Board of Health requires the certification to be renewed every year! If you are working at a local pool, lake or camp you will need to be recertified. There is still plenty of time to take a review course and get ready for the upcoming summer season.
Remember...if your certifcation expires, you will be forced to take the entire base course over again.
